UMO Ranking Criteria
You must know that if multiple students receive the same overall score, the rankings will be determined by (in the event of an offline exam).
(i) The grades earned in the Scholar Section of the prior course.
(ii) The grades from the prior class’s Scholar Section.
(iii) The grades from the Classic Section of the prior class.
(iv) The grades earned in the traditional portion of the prior course.
- In the event of a tie (for an online exam), the student who finished the test faster will receive a higher ranking.
- In the case of an online exam, the younger student will be ranked higher if there is another tie based on the Date of Birth.
- Because distinct question papers and various days and sessions will be used for the Unicus Olympiads. Normalizing the ratings for every session will yield the final rankings. Students will be assigned the same rank if they meet the above requirements and obtain the same score.
- The judgment made by the Academic Council will be final and enforceable in the event of a misunderstanding.
Class 1 Ranking Standards
If you are studying in grade 1, and you score higher than 60% on the exam, you will have a Merit Certificate and Medal sent to your home or place of education. Additionally, each student will receive a Digital Participation Certificate that they may download from the dashboard’s Results section.

UMO Awards for Grades 2 through 11
The honours and recognition for students taking UMO (Classes 2 through 11) are outlined below:
- A Merit Certificate will be given to the top fifteen percent of students.
- Any student who receives a Zonal rank of less than or equal to 10 or a 95 percentile or higher is awarded a gold medal.
- A Medal of Excellence and a Merit will be given to the top three students (registered through the school) in each school where there are more than 25 pupils in a class taking the Olympiad exam.
- A Merit Certificate and Scholar’s Trophy will be given to the top three students in Classes 2 through 11.
- A digital participation certificate will be given to each participant. This will be accessible through the participant’s dashboard.
- A student will be eligible for a higher reward if they satisfy two or more requirements.
UMO Exam Important points
- Kindly note that all exams will include three mock tests and one final exam.
- You can attempt the Mock Tests three times and you may take these tests on any date and time.
- Your slot information will display on the dashboard once your payment for the subject(s) has been validated. You can book your final exam time on this page. Once booked, the slot time can be modified for a small cost.
- You must appear for the exam at the time slot you have picked.
- Your ranking will not be announced during the mock tests.
- The answer keys for the final exam will only be accessible on the days specified above. During this time, students can also challenge the questions.

The Internet connection should have a speed of 2 Mbps. Additionally, the newest version of the browser ideally Google Chrome should be installed on the desktop or laptop. Mobile devices cannot be used to take the exam. Due to the proctored nature of the online exam, webcam access is required.
