If you are interested in applying for IMO you must contact your school. SOF does not consider the individual participation of students. Also, it follows the traditional method of applying offline. Home schooled students cannot apply for IMO by SOF.
IMO Registration Deadlines
Students SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) Level-1 dates are mentioned below:
Level 1 Exam Date 1: 22nd October, 2024
Level 1 Exam Date 2: 19th November, 2024
Level 1 Exam Date 3: 12th December, 2024
If you are late and left to register for the SOF Math Olympiad, You can ask your school administration to provide your correct information and payment before the registration deadline, which is typically 30 days before the exam, SOF foundation will accept it.

IMO Registration Procedure for
- For IMO only offline registration through school management is possible. For the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), schools must apply and submit the form at least thirty days before the exam date.
- Applications cannot be submitted by students individually. Only applications through the schools will be accepted.
- You should check your details in the student registration sheet like correct name spelling, class and parents’ name etc for correct details in certificates received later after the result of the Olympiad is declared and awards and merit certifications printed digitally ares sent to school.
- Registration or IMO can only be done offline via school Management. Schools should apply and submit the form for the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) at least 30 days before the exam date.
- You cannot submit your application individually. Applications will only be submitted via your schools.
Required Documents for IMO
You need not provide any additional documents, the school provides student data to SOF.
Registration Fees for IMO
- You and all students in schools in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal need to pay SOF a registration fee of ₹125* (including GST) per Olympiad towards the cost of the examination.
- The fee for students from countries other than India is USD 9 per student.
- Your school may charge an additional Rs 25* per student towards the honorarium of the charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and other expenses.
- If you are suffering from any major physical disability, or you are an Indian student whose parent was martyred during defence operations, you need not pay any fee for the SOF Olympiad Examination.
